We have on the 18th January agreed to buy the Swedish roro vessel Baltic Bright. The vessel is owned by Charterfrakt Baltic Carrier AB, she has Swedish flag and is presently on time-charter to UPM-Kymmene.

 

Delivery will take place in Landskrona, Sweden, in July 2021 after 25-year class renewal and installation of ballast water treatment system.

 

Baltic Bright is built in Sweden 1996 to ABS class.

After a very challenging year 2020 it feels good to present some positive news. The roro market is still under pressure with relatively low rates but we feel that the general trend is positive and we wish to continue developing our company.

With the purchase of Baltic Bright we add to our fleet a well maintained vessel that has just passed her 25-year class renewal and has a ballast water treatment system installed. The vessel can therefore easily trade for another 10 years.
