A contract for the purchase of mv Baltica was signed 8th of August 2015. Thereafter the vessel went through a five-year class renewal docking in Klaipeda.

Today - on the 30th October at 0815 hrs CET - we took delivery of the vessel in Sagunto, Spain. Baltica will keep her name and is now under Finnish flag. Most of the crew onboard will continue working for us but some key persons from our present fleet will join the vessel.

Baltica is built 1990, 13.773 dwt, 2.240 lm + containers on weather deck. She is thus slightly larger than Misana/Misida.

The ship is old but we expect a remaining life time of at least 10 years.

Baltica will continue her present traffic for TransProCon at least until June 2016. Additionally there is an option for the charterer to extend the contract until December 2016.
