NB1282 was christened on the 7th December 2007. The vessel got the name Misida and was delivered to the owners on the 21st December 2007. Directly after the delivery the vessel started her traffic for UPM under an eight year contract.

Misida and her two months earlier delivered sister Misana are built for UPM traffic between Finland and Spain but due to the flexible design they may well be employed in other services.
