We have in January 2021 agreed to buy the Swedish roro vessel Baltic Bright with delivery in Landskrona, Sweden, in July after 25-year class renewal and installation of ballast water treatment system.

 

The vessel is presently on time-charter to UPM-Kymmene, trading between ports in Finland and Spain/Germany. The contract with UPM will continue until end December 2021.

 

As from January 2022 she will be time-chartered to Holmen Paper in Norrköping for a two year period 2022-2023. The vessel will be employed in Holmen liner service between ports in Sweden and UK/Continent. The cargoes will mostly be paper products.

 

For us a contract with stock-listed Holmen is an important step to guarantee the long term employment of the vessel and crew.

 

Baltic Bright is built in Sweden 1996 to ABS class.
